Leonardo Da Vinci was a famous artist who created The Monet Lisa.
Leonardo was born in Vinci, Italy on April 15, 1452. Although he never attended public school he was very talented. For instance he became an architect, musician, engineer,scientist, and inventor. Also he was a sculptor, designer of costumes, mathematition, and botonist. An interesting fact is he invented the scissors, hydraulic pumps, and the bicycle (300 years before it appeared on the road). When Leonardo was creating the Monet Lisa it took almost 10 years just to finish the lips. On May 2, 1519 Leonardo Da Vinci passed away but his legend still lives on as on of the greatest artists.

Vincent Van Gogh was born on March 30,1853. He created many different peices of art, such as, Starry Night. Between 1860 and 1880 Vincent decided he was going to be an artist. At that time he had many jobs including a clerck for a bookstore, an art salesman, and a preacher. Vincent was know for having a temper, once he cut off part of his own earlobe! On July 29, 1890 Vincent passed away. Although Vincent was not a very confident man he created many beautiful peices of art that are now famous.

Pablo Picasso was born in Malaga, Spain on October 25, 1881. Pablo's father was an artist. Pablo's family believed in him scince he was younger. Because he worked in so many styles he became very famous. Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque created the cubism style of art. Pablo used the cubism style in many pieces of art, along with the expression style. On April 19, 1949 Pablo had a daughter named Paloma Picasso. Pablo strongly believed that work would keep him alive. Sadly this was not true, on April 8,1973 Pablo passed away. Pablo was very talented and was known as a very influencial artist.
